Context

Workforce.com manages shifts, clock-ins and payroll for more than 10,000 companies. Every client arrives with their own ecosystem: a different POS, a different ERP, a different payroll platform.

The problem

Without integration, someone exports a CSV by hand every week. With thousands of employees that means payment errors, miscalculated overtime and audits that cannot be defended.

What I did

• Oracle — clock-in and time tracking sync, with deep debugging of the source system's behaviour
• Oracle Simphony — multi-brand POS, including operations where two chains coexist in the same country
• SAP — ERP synchronisation
• NCR Aloha and PixelPoint — sales and operational data extraction
• ADP Workforce Now — punch and schedule imports
• A Windows service in Node to export sales from point-of-sale systems with no API
• GPG-encrypted exchanges for sensitive payroll data

Outcome

Integrations in production with restaurant and retail clients across several countries. Still to be published: number of clients integrated, daily transaction volume and onboarding time reduction.
